Overview

Light. Aerodynamic. Impeccably constructed. Born out of extensive Research & Development, the Zen 3-Spoke wheels outperform anything in their class.

Developed with performance in mind. Our Attitude wheels were designed alongside our high performance Disc Wheels. The result is a pair of incredibly aerodynamic wheels, ideal for competition on the track or in road time trials.

Design and Construction

Always trying to improve on the best, we started with wind tunnel assessment of current leading spoke wheels. Our testing included rotational drag, which makes up a significant proportion of total drag (linear + rotational) and is usually unmeasured in wind tunnel tests.

Our research showed that 3 spokes were more aerodynamic than 4 or 5. We then studied the spokes themselves and designed several prototypes incorporating different spoke shapes and aerodynamic sections. The net result was a design that outperformed all other wheels tested in the wind tunnel.

And of course we didn’t stop there. The wheels are impeccably constructed from high modulus carbon laminate with a foam core. The integrated carbon rims and carbon fiber hubs mean the wheels are lighter, stronger and can accelerate faster than anything else we’ve tested.
