Developed in 2009 using the technology that has seen Zen Aspire track wheels shine on the World stage. The Zen Strike is the lightest, most aerodynamic and best looking wheel available for Harness Racing today. Its unique design gives you faster acceleration and greater speed around the track while standing out with its custom graphics.

Design and Construction

Like the Zen Aspire the Zen Strike features a unique carbon monocoque construction. It has an integrated carbon rim (instead of the standard aluminum rim), which makes the wheel lighter, and more importantly, allows for faster acceleration by concentrating the weight closer to the hub.

In addition the disc profile of the wheel provides superior aerodynamics, aerodynamic drag is the major contributor to slowing a wheel down. This uncompromising use of materials, coupled with a thinner profile disc design, results in a wheel that is lighter, stiffer and more aerodynamic than anything else in competition today.

Zen Strike wheels have been tested and exceed the stringent safety requirements set by Harness Racing New Zealand.

Customization

Zen Strike wheels are available with the colours and patterns of the horse’s trainer applied, standing out from the crowd and adding some flair.
